Gov. Tom Corbett does not care about you... unless...
Tom Corbett, governor of Pennsylvania, announced today that he will once again be pushing forward his agenda aimed at hindering the lower and middle class citizens of his state.
It is class warfare.
I’m not being provocative. That’s not an extreme statement used by the left to ignite fear as dutiful and blindly loyal Republicans claim. Corbett’s alternative in his...

By the time students have reached high school – particularly their crucial sophomore and junior years – they are generally familiar with the routines of active learning and assessment and they have become accustomed to and integrated into the school’s culture and community. As these students continue to near the crossroad in their life that is high school graduation, it is important that schools...

Congressman Hurt To Discover Lobbyist Not Really... →
WASHINGTON - According to Capitol Hill sources, Rep. Bobby Schilling (R-IL) came to the painful realization this week that agribusiness lobbyist Stephen Fischer, who had been kind and generous toward him for months and had often met up with him for drinks after work, was not, in fact, his friend.
“Steve used to call all the time to catch up and ask about my family and chat about the...

When did The Huffington Post become such a joke? Was it before or after AOL acquired it? When the site first came around, I enjoyed the hell out of it. Now, their only concerns seem to be attention-grabbing headlines (that are often misleading), celebrity nip slips, and getting readers to click as often as possible on their site so they can generate more ad revenue.

The Book of Tumblr Returns: Click here to download... →

It may have seemed like a long hiatus (because it was), but this project is far from complete. Read the first 30 pages of Tumblr’s very first user-created novel - written by ten different Tumblr users, who each had no idea where the others would be taking the story - by clicking on the link above. Right here is also a story overview of each character in the story so far.
Want to...

Tonight's to-do checklist
Complete taxes (so that I may receive my refund sooner to put it all on red at the casino).
Complete and submit the first modules of both my graduate courses (so that I can instantly be pinpointed as the overachieving asshole).
Finish my economics lessons for next week (so that I can be lazy and not stay late tomorrow).
Wash, dry, and put away my laundry (emphasis on “put away,”...

– President Obama, State of the Union Address (2012)
Help us, President Obama-Kenobi, save states like Pennsylvania from governors hellbent on destroying public education. You’re our only hope.

this guy is a sanctimonious, hypocritical, self-proud douche. I don’t know why you keep quoting him, like he’s brilliant or something.

To answer your question, misterpeace - can both New England and Denver lose? But really, if I have to choose, I find myself in the rare position where I’d find pleasure in a New England win. Or rather, a Tim Tebow loss.
Since Pittsburgh’s loss, I was rooting for New Orleans to win it all (it’s impossible not to like Drew Brees), but now I think I am going to hop on the San...
